Industrial Orange Peel Grapples

We manufacture a wide spectrum of OPG6/1 orange peel grapples that are designed for flexible and efficient material handling with different types of cranes. Thanks to successful design of tines and well directed force on tine tips OPG6/1 grapples are suitable for almost any granular or particle material.

Choices for tines

Structure

Grapple's structure consists of tines, frame and hydraulics system. Graole can also be equipped with hydraulic aggregate and rotator.

Tines

Tines are made of welded steel, material is Fe S355 SFS-EN. Tips are made of wear-proof Hardox-steel. Thanks to successful design of the tines optimal grip and and filling level is achieved with almost all suitable materials. Articulation bearings

Frame

Welded, very sturdy steel plate composition. Articulation bearings between hydraulic cylinders and frame. Every shaft is secured with jack-screw system

Hydraulics

All hydraulic components are standard high-class components with short delivery times e.g. during maintenance. Cylinders can endure high pressure and wearing and the selected gaskets can endure intense stress. Hydraulic piping and tubing is protected against damage. Maintenance required by hydraulics is easy and fast to carry out because grabbers mechanical structure doesn't have to be taken apart during the maintenance.

Electrical connection 400 V / 50 Hz + 5 %. Controls 230 V / 50 Hz
Power need for connection purposes: Main motor power consumption + 2kW
Electrics to terminal block. Delivered without a plug or delivered with a customer relating plug on request as an accessory.

Surface treatment

EPPUR120/2-FeSa2,5 ( = 120 ). Shade of color RAL 1006 ( yellow ). Different surface treatment on request.

Documents

Maintenance and operation instructions, CE certification, conformity assurance, spare part catalogue and related drawings are included in the delivery. Documents are also delivered in digital form.

Approvals

We design and manufacture our products from high-class materials and products are tested at our factory before delivering them to customer. Manufacturing process always follows necessary standards and regulations set by authorities.
