These Weaver Auto Carriage SS-EGW Digital-1W is an automatic welding carriage for vertical butt welding applications, employing electro gas welding process with 1.6mm flux cored electrode. The machine is compact and lightweight and easy to position.
Digital displays help determine welding parameters. Stick-out is maintained with automatic control. The welding carriage travels along the guide rail mounted parallel to weld groove of work piece.
Travel speed is kept consistent regardless of load variations during welding. With a water-cooled copper backing to confine the molten weld metal, sound weld bead is obtained. Torch oscillation extends allowable range of weldment thickness.
The Weaver Auto Carriage SS-EGW Digital-1W can increase productivity and quality by producing uniform, consistent welds. Specially designed magnets can be attach and remove with clamp on the work place. Strong magnets hold the machine on the work piece with approximately 200 Kg force. Demagnetized guide rail facilitates easy installation and does not collect debris.
