SUMISOFT PE 100

(POLYETHYLENE WAX EMULSION)

SUMISOFT-PE 100 is a non-ionic synthetic blended product. Serves as a softener and lubricant for natural and synthetic fibers. May be used alone or in combination with other commodity finishing materials. Most widely used in resin system for crease resistant finishes. It imparts a good surface gloss and fine texture, rich appearance and silky soft feel. Also improves physical properties of fabrics including tear strength, abrasion resistance, crease recovery and sewability.

The diluted product has the following advantages:

SUMISOFT PE 100 being non-ionic in nature, is stable over a wide range of pH and is compatible with other finishes and auxiliaries. SUMISOFT PE 100 has good resistance to washing. SUMISOFT PE 100 does not cause any discoloration or change in the tone or fastness properties of Dyeing, or develop rancidity. Because of its very fine particle size, SUMISOFT PE 100 easily penetrates into the fabrics and thus its pickup is uniform and thorough. SUMISOFT PE 100 is an excellent softener for all types of natural and synthetic fabrics and gives excellent hand and drape. Because of its excellent lubricity properties, SUMISOFT PE 100 reduces the friction between threads and thus helps to improve the wear and reduce needle cutting.

PREPARATION OF STANDARD PRODUCT:

Mix 75 - 80 parts of SOFT WATER with 25 - 20 parts of SUMISOFT PE 100 to make 100 parts. Diluted product is milky white emulsion and stable under the normal storage conditions. The amount of water can be varied widely as required.
