SUMISOFT AS(ANIONIC SOFTENING AGENT)

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

SUMISOFT AS is a Heavy Type anionic softening agent for application on all types of textiles where a soft and full finish with some body as desired.SUMISOFT AS is particularly useful in imparting a soft finish to dyed fabrics. SUMISOFT AS does not turn rancid in course of storage and does not cause any yellow stains on treated cloth. The character of SUMISOFT AS permits its re-use for repeated or subsequent operations.

PROPERTIES:

Appearance :Milky white coloured, thick smooth paste.

Character :Anionic.

Reaction :Neutral.

Solubility :Easily disperses in hot water.

Stability :Aqueous dispersion has excellent stability to hardwater, dilute acids & alkalies

Compatibility:Compatible with other anionic or nonionic finishes, thickening agents,

whitening agents etc.

USES:

As a general softening agent for all types of textiles and particularly for cellulosics such as Cotton, Linen, Rayon and wool. As an additive to dyebaths with a view to soften the fabrics simultaneously while dyeing. (However, where acid and basic dyes are employed addition of SUMISOFT AS to the dyebath is not recommended. As an after treatment softener for fabrics treated with synthetic resin finish.

APPLICATION:

SUMISOFT AS is applied in the form of a dispersion prepared by either stirring 1 part of the product in 10 parts of boiling water, or first pasting the product in some warm water, and adding the paste to hot water till it is well dispersed. This is further diluted with water to the desired strength and the fabric is wetted in the dispersion thoroughly, taken out and squeezed to remove excess liquor and dried.

RECOMMENDED CONCENTRATION:

For wool, cotton, and rayon piece goods (on padding mangle) approximately 3-4

grams SUMISOFT AS per litre of water.

For cotton, linen or rayon yarns 1-2 grams per litre.

For rayon and silk hosiery, 1-2 grams per litre.
