Tm 112 Mold Release Agent For Brake Lining And Brake Shoes

TM 112 is a release agent designed for challenging and abrasive molding applications, offering easy part release. It's particularly recommended for processes like filament winding, pre-wrapping, wet lay-up on mandrels, polymer concrete, and high-abrasion molding. TM 112 maintains consistent performance over time.

Mold Preparation:-
Mandrels should be completely clean from previous contaminants, release agents, and resin. Dexclean Mold Cleaner and an abrasive pad like Scotch Brite can be used.
Dexseal Mold Sealer can enhance performance further.

Application:-
TM 112 can be applied through spraying or wiping, with wiping considered more effective.
For wiping, saturate a clean cotton cloth with TM 112 and apply it to the mandrel.
Initially, apply 2 to 3 even coats for proper coverage, with a few minutes of dry time between each coat. No heat curing before molding.
After demolding the part, reapply as needed, typically one coat. Warm surface application enhances performance.
While spraying, ensure a uniform coat over the mandrel's surface. Wipe off any excess.
Use a fine mist spray system. Reapply as necessary.
