Product: G-161X - Internal Release Agent for Polyester and Acrylic Resins

G-161X is a highly efficient internal release agent with lubricating properties specially formulated for use with Polyester and Acrylic resins. Notably, G-161X is silicone-free. Its chemical composition permits post-release treatments such as painting or foaming directly onto the molded surface without requiring additional processes like sanding.

Properties:-
Appearance: Clear liquid.
Density: Approximately 0.86 g/ml (20A C).
Pour Point: Approximately 20A C.

Application and Dosage:-
G-161X is a pre-prepared formulation and is directly added to the polyester or acrylic resin. To achieve optimal results, thorough and careful mixing is crucial. The precise dosage of G-161X depends on the specific processing conditions and should be determined by the customer. Typically, the dosage (based on resin solids) ranges between 0.5 and 1.0 wt-%.

For best results, it's recommended to start with clean molds and employ a mold sealer initially.

Handling and Storage:-
The standard precautions for handling chemicals should be followed. Keep the container tightly sealed and store it at room temperature. Under ambient temperature storage, this product maintains a shelf life of at least 12 months.
