Metafinish -11 is a water based Zircon coating suitable for non wetting
refractory shapes while handling aluminum metal and also steel castings
& ingot molds. The product is having excellent thixotropic &
covering properties suitable for non-wetting refractory shapes and also
for organic binders, such as furan resin or pepset system are employed.
Coating can be applied by brush or spray. Generally it is used directly
from the container. The coating applied can be cured by oven drying,
infra- red or it can be dried faster using gas torch.Typical Properties:

Application
It is applied to control pin for distributor of D.C. casting.Coating on tundish (distributor) for D.C. casting which eliminates turbulence.Coating on launder shapes for molten metal which eliminates turbulence.
