Key Features
Metafinish-TM is a mixed refractory water based coating in Ready-For
-Use form It has excellent thixotropic properties and the coating
remains in suspension form, thereby eliminating sedimentation and water
separation defects .Coating consists of refractory fillers and hence is
recommended for cast iron , SG iron , and non-ferrous alloys .

Application
The dilution of Metafinish-TM is always done with clean water (hardness
of water should be less than 50 ppm) by adding the water a little at a
time to the coating and stirring continuously until a homogenous mix of
the correct consistency is obtained.
Metafinish-TM is used on shell cores, hot-box cores, cold-box cores,
alkyd cores, oil-sand cores etc by maintaining related viscosity
depending on the mode of application.

The coating done by any of the above method should be followed by drying.

- Product gives a complete and uniform coverage, which ensures a
good casting finish, free from fusion and penetration and hence lowers
the casting cleaning costs.
Storage and Handling: The product should be stored at a room
temperature under roof and away from direct sunlight and moisture. Use
of safety gears and gadgets is a must while handling the above product.
Shelf-Life: 6 Months from the date of manufacture.
Standard Packing: 25 Kgs in poly carboys.
