Characteristics & Features: A range of chemical degassing cum grain
refining agent which contains carbon base for Magnesium and Magnesium
base alloys. It gives low fume and longer degassing time.

METHOD OF USING: The most efficient degassing cum grain refining
technique is when it is carried out in a metal batch. The application
technique using plunger depends upon the size of tablet. It is
essential to immerse the tablet deep into the melt and hold it there
until bubbling ceases. Plunger should be preheated. The use of degasser
may result in certain amount of fume evolution. This is non-toxic at
normal concentration and should be no problem in a well-ventilated
foundry.
For better result, before carried out degassing, as soon as melting
finished and temp rise to required for treatment use MAGFLUX 7 and
rabble the metal and after that do the degassing and grain refining
with DEGASSER-6 H.
APPLICATION RATE: Use 0.1 to 0.15%

- Feeding properties and machinability of the casting improves.

MODE OF STORAGE: Keep in dry place and away from the moisture.
SHELF LIFE: One year from date of manufacturing.
MODE OF PACKING: Tablets are packed in Aluminium foil & Polythene sheets and later on are packed 24 kg.wooden crates.
