of hydrogen from the melts of aluminum and aluminum alloys.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Degasser group of
products are compacted tablets in a number of different sizes /
weights to facilitate the degassing treatment of Aluminum melts.

The following types of Degasser Tablets
are available.

METHOD OF USING: The most efficient
degassing technique is when it is carried out in a metal bath which
has been brought to its maximum temperature and where temperature is
falling. The application technique using plunger simply requires that
the tablet is immersed using a bell or box plunger depending upon the
size of tablet. It is essential to immerse the tablet as deep in to
the melt as practicable and hold it there until bubbling ceases.
Plunger should be preheated.

The use of degasser may result in
certain amount of Cl fumes evolution. This is non toxic at normal
concentration and the treatment area should be well ventilated.
