Fire Retardant Air Filters

APPLICATION : MECHFIL FIRE RETARDANT air filters are exclusively designed for special purpose applications. It is a fire proof filter of 100% glass fibre with slight glue content.
To be applied where highest efficiency and fire proof filters are required such as : Nuclear Energy Security Installations in the Chemical Industries and the High Accuracy Industries.

Space Research, Atomic Energy, Ordnance Factories where the application demands media to withstand continuous temperature.
MECHFIL F.R. media can withstand temperature up to 500o F. All MECHFIL Fire Retardant Filters are tested as per B.S.2831/1701 test method and Test Dust No.2.

CONSTRUCTION :
The exclusive design of MECHFIL FIRE RETARDANT media consists of extremely fine diameter glass fiber with a high fiber count per square inch closely woven and bonded with thermosetting resin (sprayed).
The media is assembled in FIRE RETARDANT housing interspaced with aluminium spacers for uniform distribution of Air Flow to ensure high dust retention.

INSTALLATION :
May be mounted in multiple Banks on angle iron frames for large volumes of Air Flow.
