Dry Viscous Metallic Air Filters - Galvanized Iron, 2" Deep, 5 Layer Wire Mesh | High Efficiency Up To 90%, Automatic Drain Holes System

APPLICATION: MECHFIL Dry Viscous Metallic air filters are permanent re-cleanable metal panel elements which are designed for general ventilation, air-conditioning system applications as well as for electric motors and plenum air for working areas. These are economical and durable filters.

CONSTRUCTION: A viscous impingement element is constructed of several (FIVE) layers of G.I. wire mesh interspaced with crimped 2 layers and 3 flat layers. The media is supported with expanded metal from both sides as reinforcement and encased in 2" deep metal frame. The filter media ensures maximum filtration area, resulting in nominal differential pressure drop and high dust retention capacity.

PERFORMANCE: MECHFIL Dry Metallic Air Filters ensure efficiency of 80% down to particle size of 15 to 20 microns.
Oil wetted (SAE-40/90) METALLIC Air Filters ensure efficiency of 90% down to particle size of 10 to 15 microns, tested as per B.S.2831/1701 at Test Dust No.3.

OPERATING CONDITIONS: Regular servicing involves washing the filter in natural solvent, drying thoroughly, re-oiling and allowing to drain before refitting.

SPECIAL FEATURES: A MECHFIL VISCOUS METALLIC Air Filter is designed with automatic drain holes system which allows the clogged dirt and tiny particles of chiseled steel to flush out and maintain pressure drop across the filter element.

INSTALLATION :May be mounted in multiple Banks on angle iron frames for large volumes of Air Flow.
