33 K.v Xlpe Cables

Unistar High Voltage XLPE cables are manufactured under stringent quality control norms. The plant is kept under positive pressure ensuring most clean atmosphere (air cleanliness is better than 250 ppm).

Cross linking of triple extruded layer is achieved by dry cured dry cooled (DC.DC.) process in the continuous catanery vulcanizing line. Single core 33 kv XLPE cables are made upto 1000 Sq.mm Aluminium or 800 Sq.mm copper conductor. Three core 33 kv XLPE cables are made up to 630 Sq.mm copper conductor. Multicore cables are made upto 400 sqmm aluminium or copper.
For cables with improved Fire performance (FR), or Flame Retardance low halogen and smoke (FRLS) , the sheath(s) is specially formulated to meet specified requirements.
