Power Cables with Impregnated paper insulation have been in use longer than any other type of cable. Impregnated paper insulation retains its properties at higher temperatures , paper insulated cable is therefore able to withstand the effect of short circuits & overloading better than other cables.

Paper cables have basic three construction viz- belted cables, screened cable and S.L. Screened cable.

The shape of conductors are generally as given below:

1) Multi core cables up to 11 kv sector shaped

2) 22 kv and 33 kv multi core cables oval shaped

3) Single core cable and S.L. Screened cables compacted circular.

Apart from national standards (IS-692), we also supply Cables to other International Standards e.g. SABS , BS-6480, IEC-55 and Gost. specification etc.
