Power Cables with Impregnated paper insulation have been in use longer than any other type of cable. Impregnated paper insulation retains its properties at higher temperatures , paper insulated cable is therefore able to withstand the effect of short circuits & overloading better than other cables.

Paper cables have basic three construction viz- belted cables, screened cable and S.L. Screened cable.

The shape of conductors are generally as given below:

1) Multi core cables up to 11 kv a sector shaped

2) 22 kv and 33 kv multi core cables a oval shaped

3) Single core cable and S.L. Screened cables a compacted circular.

Apart from national standards (IS-692), we also supply Cables to other International Standards e.g. SABS , BS-6480, IEC-55 and Gost. specification etc.
