Cylinder Cascade - High Pressure Interconnected Gas Storage Unit | Efficient Handling, Cost-effective Production Planning, Maximum Safety

Cylinder cascade is a single gas unit which contains a group of high pressure gas cylinders that are interconnected by a high pressure piping and manifold blocks. The number of gas cylinders may from 6 to 150. Widely used in various industries such as automotive, the primal benefit of the product is that it avoids individual handling of cylinders and adequate gas quantity resulting in better production planning and cost savings to the user.

A group of gas cylinders are interconnected by high pressure piping to form a single gas storage unit and are called a cascade. The cylinder cascade may contain from 6 to 600 gas cylinders. In case of CNG, as per the current provisions of gas cylinder rules, 2004, the total water capacity of the cascade cannot exceed 4500 litres.

While using cascades, handling of individual cylinders could be avoided. Some of the problems that arise when cylinders are handled individually are:
* Damage to the cylinder valve during handling.
* Improper tightening of the cylinder valve when changing.
* Unknowingly touching the nearby regulator thereby changing the delivery pressure.
* Handling individual cylinders is more labour and time intensive.
