Top chock made integral with the top cap reducing the housing post length, thereby reducing percent elongation on load facilitating reduced post cross section.

Pre compressed cap mounting through hydraulic nuts. The cap is pre-compressed equal to the rolling load, which is released during rolling. The elongation of housing post is drastically reduced and rolled section conforms to the cut grooves.

Hydraulically clamped/declamped with hydraulic shifting, facilitating fixed rolling line and drastically reducing the time for pass changing.
