Ash Handling System - M.s. Fabricated , Efficient Rake Type Clarifier With Telescopic Valve And Easy Operation

The Ash Handling System is ideally designed to process the slurry that is obtained from Wet Scrubber during continuous stream in which the recycling of clear water phase to wet scrubber and discharge of underflow (settled Ash) in a standing trolley is witnessed. Horizontal Rectangular Solid Separator
The Rake type rectangular clarifier has minimum retention time required for maximum settling rate with laminar flow of liquid. The discharge of underflow and scum take place at opposite ends with the help of Rake Carrier and skimmer. Rake Carrier runs at a very slow speed so that settling is not disturbed.

It is all constructed from M.S. Plates. The bottom has thickness of 10 mm and side plate of 6 mm, duly stiffened.
M.S. fabricated skimmer and scum tank is provided at the rear end of the rectangular clarifier. The unit is complete with feeding spouts for slurry from the scrubbers.
The supernatant liquid is pumped by a scum pump to vertical clarifier.

Vertical Clarifier
The scum and supernatant liquid obtained from the horizontal separator is further clarified in a vertical clarifier. The clear liquid is drawn through telescopic valve and recycled to wet scrubber. The settled particles are discharged to the rake Carrier of the horizontal separator.
The unit may be of one or more vertical clarifier's as per the capacity.
