It is used for tensile strength in plastics like BOPP Tape, paper, pulp, and chemical industries. This uses load cell of range 0-75 kgf .One kgf equals 9.8 Newtona s.
The Computerized Tensile testing machine offers a grip to grip separation between 25mm and 700mm. Two sets of grips are supplied with the machine.
The equipment provides an accurate cross head speed between 50mm and 500mm / min. and is powered by a Servo Motor, which can be run at variable speed. A graphic user interface PC has been incorporated to provide accurate speed control. The machine offers an overall Head Travel Length of 800mm without Grips. It has been fitted with Universal a Sa Type / Pancake Type Load cell which has an accuracy of +0.5%.
