Everon DC Energy Meter EV-DSL-02 is an intelligent DC Energy Meter, suiting requirements of variety of Solar Energy applications. EV-DSL-02 is a single channel, micro-controller based system for accurate measurements of DC Voltage, DC Current, Load KW and cumulative KWH count. This device uses indirect measurement technique through Hall Effect Sensor of appropriate rating. Hall sensor is an active electronic transducer which generates a proportionate isolated signal to digital processing. DC voltage measurement is also optically isolated enabling interfacing of the device with external communication devices like serial data transfer for RS232 or GSM modem. DSL-02 has built-in real time clock and memory. Internal memory updating is user settable by commands over serial port. An internal data log is generated by the meter as per updating frequency decided by the user. By using simple commands over hyper-terminal data from the meter can be downloaded in to a laptop or a PC. A data file is generated for word processing purpose.
