Iot Based Battery Management System

We are making, exporting and supplying IOT Based Battery Management System in New Delhi, Delhi, India. A Battery Bank is an essential part of any 24 x 7 service application. May it be Telecom, Power Sub-Stations, Defense or Space, Battery performance is essential to the reliability of service. All the Battery Banks are series combination of low voltage cells and the Health of individual cells determines the life of a Battery Bank. A perfect Battery Bank needs perfectly balanced cells and a minor imbalance in the cell performance leads to total collapse of the entire Battery Bank. Maintaining and Monitoring Battery Banks at remote unmanned locations is not economical. The absence of routine battery health follow-up results in total loss of the Battery.

We decided to take up this management problem as a design challenge. And propose distributed IOT data acquisition technology with web-interface. Tiny Wireless Transmitters are placed across the battery cells monitoring Cell Voltage and Cell Temperature and reporting the same to the local host, connected to internet. User can configure and set measurement threshold limits and keep and online watch on the behavior of the cells under charge, discharge and test conditions.

In a remote environment user can make an instant battery test or schedule the same over a 24 x 7 x 365 days calendar. Test results are published online or optional alerts are sent to the user.
