The breather contains silica gel crystals which have an extreme capacity of absorbing moisture. Silica gel is an adsorbent that helps in absorbing the moisture, humidity, odor from the products and helps in maintaining their effectiveness. silica gel is the preferred drying agent. Dust and other particles present in the air, it will have trapped by the oil placed in the oil seal cup, which acts as a barrier between the air and silica gel.
