VRP 2131G is an Isophthalic Acid / MP Diol based Unsaturated Polyester Gelcoat designed for brush or spray applications. MP Diol exhibits the weatherability performance of Neopentyl Glycol. Polyesters made from the reaction of Isophthalic Acid with MP Diol are as weatherable as NPG based resins, which are preferred for outdoor applications. VRP 2131G has a high viscosity, good sag resistance, good air release, and is fast curing. Also, it has a high strength and elongation, excellent blister resistance, good weatherability (with UV resistance), good clarity and color, and produces products with excellent glossiness and smooth surface. VRP 2131G is suitable for the manufacture of marine products, automobiles, recreation equipment, helmets, sanitary ware, etc.
