We are engaged in offering Digital RTD Simulator DigiSim 38505 which is a portable, precision 4 digit calibrator for RTD input instruments. The 38505 is designed to simulate temperature of one user specified RTD. It eliminates the need of using decade resistance boxes and calibration charts by simulating the nonlinear Resistance Vs Temperature characteristics of RTDs.

The Digital RTD Simulator is designed with field-proven circuit blocks using low-power integrated circuits. It operates on alkaline 9V or rechargeable Ni-Cd Jerry-can cell or an external battery eliminator. The battery voltage is continuously monitored to provide low-battery indication. The Digital RTD Simulator uses two ten-turn potentiometers as the source of resistance for simulation of RTDs. Its input circuit incorporates a bridge and linearised display with excellent repeatability. A self-check facility establishes correct functioning of all the circuit blocks.

With the Digital RTD Simulator in simulator mode, the temperature of the selected RTD can be set directly on the display by varying the COARSE and FINE potentiometers of the source. The corresponding resistance can then be fed to the instrument under calibration. In the measurement mode, the temperature of the connected RTD can be directly read on the display.
