Imlter Tower Furnace

Our company is interested in the manufacturing and supplying a marvelous quality of iMlter Tower Furnace in Coimbatore Tamil Nadu India. The i-MELTER combines the preheating heating and liquefying melting phases in one melting shaft thanks to its special geometry and its specially adapted burner technology. While return material and ingots are melted quickly in the lower section the combustion gases simultaneously heat the materials in the shaft area above it. This simple but effective regenerator principle results in considerable savings in fuel consumption and greatly reduces the loss of metal. The molten metal is transferred to the holding bath without turbulence and with little waste and kept there at set holding temperature.

With self-recuperative & energy efficient furnace design the specific energy consumption achieved at 580 kwh per tonne of aluminium.

Higher Metal Yield
Innovative melting technology reduces the oxidation losses in the melting zone and the total melting loss in the i-Melter melting chamber is between 0.5% - 1.5%.

Continuous Supply of Molten Metal
Two separate chambers for melting & holding enables continuous tapping of molten metal at constant temperature. Very much suitable for large and continuous casting applications.
