The i-Melter furnace designed in such a way to effectively use the residual melting heat rising through the stack to preheat newly added charge material. Inturn greatly increases furnace efficiency. The i-Melter furnace design can operate continuously and, therefore, is highly productive compared to batch type furnaces(Crucible/ Skelner/Reverberatory). Low flue temperatures result in reduced NOx emissions, reducing pollution control equipment requirements.

All i-Melter furnaces feature rugged steel construction built to hold up in melt shop environments and operating conditions. Carefully designed and tough refractory construction using high quality, high alumina grade refractories with special non-wetting properties ensures long lasting working. The two zone high efficiency radiant roof and high velocity combustion system provides rapid melting on the melting chamber with unsurpassed constant holding chamber temperature control.
