Polysure CE02RR, produced by HPCL-Mittal Energy Limited (HMEL) using advanced Spheripol-II Technology, is a Polypropylene Impact Copolymer engineered for extrusion and blow molding applications requiring a balance of rigidity, impact strength, and reliable processing.
With a Melt Flow Index of 1.8 g/10 min (230C / 2.16 kg), CE02RR provides smooth flow characteristics suitable for sheet extrusion, corrugated boards, and blow-molded products. Its mechanical performance includes a tensile yield strength of 27 MPa, tensile elongation at yield of 8%, flexural modulus of 1100 MPa, and Notched Izod Impact Strength of 250 J/m, ensuring toughness and dimensional stability across various industrial applications.
CE02RR also offers thermal durability, featuring a Vicat Softening Point of 150C and a Heat Deflection Temperature of 90C under 0.455 MPa loadmaking it suitable for products requiring structural integrity under moderate thermal stress.
This grade complies with IS 10910 for food-contact safety and adheres to additive standards under IS 16738:2018, ensuring safe use in food, pharmaceutical, and drinking-water applications. Ingredients are further aligned with FDA CFR Title 21, 177.1520 (Olefin Polymers).
