Diallyl dimethyl ammonium chloride (DADMAC) is a cationic quaternary amine salt monomer with high purity, polymerization grade, high charge density, and high conversion. It only contains little sodium chloride and other trace impurities, which has little effect on polymerization. The DADMAC aqueous solution is colorless, transparent, and odorless, with a slight consistency. DADMAC is completely soluble in water. The molecular structure contains alkenyl bonds, which can form linear homopolymers and copolymers through various polymerization reactions. DADMAC has the characteristics of stability at room temperature, non-hydrolysis, non-flammability, less irritation to skin, and low toxicity. As a cationic monomer, DADMAC can be polymerized by homopolymerization or copolymerization. The polymers can be widely used in water treatment, the textile industry, and the paper-making industry.
