Ceramics Grade CMC (Carboxymethyl Cellulose)

Our range of Ceramics Grade CMC (Carboxymethyl Cellulose) is applied in ceramics body it will save dosage increase the plasticity of ceramic clay material and improve the flexural strength of ceramic green. Loss on ignition is good no residue after burning. With good suspension and dispersion to prevent particle coagulation of polar materials. Good performance on mechanical wear resistance and the molecular chains has been less damaged in the process of milling and mechanical mixing. The recommended addition is 0.03%-0.2%.
While CMC is applied in ceramics glaze slurry it can regulate viscosity so that glaze slurry has good rheology ease of glazing. To improve the performance of body-glaze combination. Improve the strength of semi-glazed to prevent deglazing.
Regulate the drying time of glaze layer to obtain smooth glazed and improve the stability of glaze slurry. The recommended addition is 0.05-0.2%
While CMC is applied in glaze decoration the printing process is smooth due to excellent dissolving capability of CMC. It will improve the clarity of pattern and keep same color. The recommended addition is 1.4-4.0%.
