Aluminium Die Castings:
We
have recently taken over one Die Casting unit. The new unit is called Impact
Metals Limited, Diecastings Division, located at IDA, Bollarum, Medak
District about 25 kms from Hyderabad Airport. The unit
has the following facilities:
- Infrastructure: The unit has 3.15 Acres of land surrounded by a compound wall and
35000 Sq.ft shed with a height of 33ft above the ground level with
750 KVA power and 375 KVA captive generating facilities to take care
of any emergencies. Each bay is provided with 5/2 ton capacity over
head cranes for material handling.
- Production
Machines:
1.
Itali Press of 1200 Tonnes
2. WEINGARTEN 1250 Tonnes - Both (1 & 2) the machines are with Auto
Ladle facility
3. Buhler 400 Tonnes
4. POLAK - 250 Tonnes - Both (3 & 4) are automatic but with manual loading
of metal
- Melting
Capacity: Melting
section has 6 melting furnace for melting 300 kgs of metal and each
press is supported by holding furnace of 300 kgs capacity at each of
the moulding machines. Apart from the above crucibles, we also have a 2
Tonne tilt furnce which we use for alloy making.
- Die
Making: Die making facilities include copy machine milling,
vertical milling machine, radial drilling machines, spark erosion
and HMT made lathe machines, cylindrical grinding, surface grinding
etc. Heat treatment is done inhouse.
- Quality
Assurance: We use the emission spectrometer of German
make for testing the alloys, along with chemical and wet method
of alloy analysis.

have well equipped factory to produce high pressure Aluminium Casting,
Aluminium Alloys including advanced testing facilities meeting the
demands from customers and consistent both in quality and delivery
schedules.
