We wish to introduce, that we are one of the Small Scale Industries registered with the Directorate of Industries, Government of TamilNadu, manufacturing Dye Fixing Agent for Textiles, Leather, Paper, Paint, Rubber and have specialty products of Nonionic, Anionic and Cat-ionic bases.

SUMIFIX - R is a specific Dye Fixing Agent for direct and reactive dyes.

Composition : Nitrogen containing condensation product.
Appearance : Colourless liquid.
Ionic Nature : Cat-ionic.
Solubility : Easily soluble in cold water.
PH : 4.5 to 5.
Stability to Acids : Good.
Stability to Alkalies : Good.
Shelf lilfe : Six months.

APPLICATION:

To bleeding of direct dyeing on contact with water is due to the fact that the absorption of the dye-stuff on the cellulose is a reversible reaction.

SUMIFIX - R being cat-ionic in nature combines with dye to produce a complex Molecule, which is insoluble. The resulting compound does not hydrolyse and gets fixed to the fabric.

The bleeding of colour in case of reactive dyeing is due to loosely held dyestuff and the fixation of lose dye can be improved by using SUMIFIX - R.

The dyed material is treated with 2-3 g/l of SUMIFIX - R at a room temperature by padding or in jigger and then it is rinsed thoroughly with water. A slightly acidic pH adjusted by acetic gives improved results.
