Raw Water Connection:

THE PRE-REQUISITES

The Beneficiaries will have to provide for the following:

• Space Allotment for installation of kiosk housing the Water ATM:
• Length: approx 14 ft
• Breadth: approx 10 ft
• Height : approx 10.5 ft

Raw Water Source

Uninterrupted Electrical Supply (220V, single Phase) preferably via a separate meter provided by the electrical supplier.

Permissions for

• o Digging an underground reservoir of approx 3000 liters.
• o Installation of overhead reservoir of approx 1000 liters.

THE WATER ATM

• The Water ATM is an innovative concept in the field of water treatment which can be customized for installation of a water treatment plant with microbial disinfection with a water chiller facility. The Water ATM will dispense one liter of purified, ambient chilled water against an affordable cost.
• The Water ATM has coin slots to insert either Two Nos One Rupee Coins or One Nos Two Rupee Coin, and it will automatically dispense 1 liter of purified, chilled water.
• The Water ATM will be installed with Iron Elimination System and Activated Carbon System for removal of iron and any odour or unpleasant taste from the water.
• Installed within the plant is high quality grade Activated Carbon which removes all odour from the water and gives it a crystal clear appearance, the water will also pass through UV Rays which will kill all bacteriological contamination.
• The Water ATM Project is conceptualized by the Department with the aim to provide ambient cool drinking water to the masses at an affordable cost.
• THE PROPOSED WATER ATM
• The Water ATM is a completely automatic water vending machine with two water vending points for dispensing upto 150 liters of water per hour. The Water ATM will vend water after inserting coins into the vending machines.
• The Water ATM is a unique concept of dispensing pure and safe water in lieu of a nominal amount of money. The automated system of Water ATM will ensure that no spoilage and pilferage will happen.
• This machine will accept coins issued by the Reserve Bank of India.
