It is an easy to use thickness gauge for PET bottles, Glass products and preforms that utilizes the proven Hall effect principle of magnetism to make fast, accurate and repeatable measurement of wall thickness of PET bottles, Glass products(borosil tube, glass bottles etc.) and preforms. It is a highly sophisticated magnamike tool for measuring the wall and the base thickness on bottles with complex shapes without cutting. Usage of this thickness gauge for PET bottles, Glass products and performs is simple wherein the operator drops the metallic target ball inside the bottle or perform and attracts the same with a magnetic probe held outside.
The thickness gauge is light weight hand held and in its minimum mode continuously displays the lowest thickness readings. The simple operation are clearly shown on the backlit LCD screen with large fonts. Quick measurement ensures the reading comes in less than 16 seconds. The internal file based data logger stores upto 95000 readings.
