Valco Rewinder Cum Slicer Machine (Conversion Center)

This Valco Rewinder Cum Slicer Machine (Conversion Center) is specifically designed to wind small length logbars from a jumbo roll and then slice the logrolls followed by one another. Jumbo capacity is 1000 meters or 280 mm diameter. Logrolls of desired lenght can be wound very precisely. Winding length can be set on the PLC. Jumbo roll is provided with pneumatic lifting mechanism. It is also provided with mechanized brake arrangement to provide sufficient tension while winding. Pneumatically acting pressure roller can be activated on the winding shaft for smooth winding. Chuck and end support operations are all push button activated and interlocked with machine operation. Slicing width can be set on PLC and slicing blade is motor driven having 3 modes. Blade can be driven while slicing and stops automatically when it reaches the core part. Alternatively blade drive can be activated only when blade is in retracted position. Coolant application is through coolant chamber. Slicing width can be set on PLC. This machine is specifically suitable for surface protection tapes. Other tapes such as masking tapes etc. also can be converted on this machine.
