Valco BSLD 4 ACO Tapes Slicing Machine

This is a 4 shafts tape slicing machine designed specifically for PVC electrical insulation tapes and high rate production output. Cutting action is performed on 4 shafts by simultaneously while 4 shafts are on standby mode. That means there are in all 8 shafts out of which 4 shafts undergo slicing operation at a time.
The machine is fully automatic with turret changeover and mandrel insertion into the chucks. Chucks lock automatically and coolant dosing to blade is also automatic. This system is re-circulating type. The cutting width and other cutting parameters are set digitally on the control panel. Cutting mechanism movement is by ball screw and servo/stepper drive system controlled by PLC
Total cycle time for 135 cm log width and 18 mm cutting width is about 220 seconds, i.e. 4 log bars cutting @ 18 mm width every 220 seconds.
