EPS-500 is an Electronic Power Supply (EPS) manufactured by UvTron designed for the instantaneous drying of inks, varnishes and adhesives that are sensitive to ultra violet (UV) light. This is a highly integrated, digitally controlled power supply designed specifically for powering UV Tubes used in surface curing of concrete, wood, vinyl, and marble.

EPS-500 is a microcontroller driven, light weight electronic power supply to drive any UV tube ratted in rage between 280v-500v (Tube Voltage) and 6A-12A (Tube Current) with power density supported up-to 600 watt/inch. The EPS-500 is designed to adapt to a wide range of tube ratings fed using input keypad interface.
Using EPS-500 the UV tube is driven with low frequency square wave current, through this the obscuring period during the zero-axis crossing of current, occurring at sinus shaped supply (standard power supply), is dropped.
Step-less dimming feature of EPS-500 gives intensity variation from 100% to 15% as required by drying substance. Thus instead full ratted power only required power gets consume. This feature helps to save much energy.
The EPS-500 is the most powerful and highly efficient machine available today in India. It neither requires any power factor correction nor affected by variation from mains. It also does not require any kind of auxiliary power supply.
