The product has excellent aging resistance, generally hard, strong rigidity, high modulus, significantly improved tensile strength and decreased elongation at break compared with that before hydrogenation. SEBS has no or less double bonds in the molecular chain, so its aging resistance to photooxidation and ozone is significantly improved. It has good temperature resistance. Its brittleness temperature is a - 60 A C, the service temperature reaches 149 A C at high temperature, and its decomposition temperature is greater than 270 A C in oxygen atmosphere. SEBS has excellent aging resistance, and the performance degradation rate of SEBS after aging in artificial accelerated aging box for one week is less than 10%. SEBS has excellent electrical properties, and its dielectric loss is 1.3 at 1 kHz A 10, 2.3 for one MHz A 10; Volume resistance is one minute 9 A 10 IC -cm, two minutes 2 A 10IC-cm. SEBS has good solubility and blending properties, and its solubility parameter is between 7.2-7.6.
Purpose:
It is widely used in high elastic products, covering materials (tool handles), polymer modification, adhesives and sealants, medical devices, wire and cable fillers, etc.
SEBS can produce a0-95 degree elastomer by mixing with polyolefin, naphthenic oil or hydrogenated naphthenic oil, white oil, etc. such elastomer has excellent surface texture, weather resistance and anti-aging performance, and can be widely used in soft contact materials such as handshake, sealing strip, wire and cable, toothbrush handle and other coating materials of handles, stationery, toys and sports equipment.
