A straw reaper is a tractor-drawn, Power Take-Off (PTO)-operated agricultural machine designed specifically to handle the crop residue left behind after a combine harvester has done its job. Instead of letting the remaining wheat stalks go to waste or burning them, the straw reaper performs three critical functions in a single pass:

Cuts the standing stalks (stubble) close to the ground.
