Solar Controller are available both for residential and commercial application, preprogrammed for close-loop or open loop solar water heating systems with various sized tank capacity. The system can be natural, as in thermosyphon, or forcing circulation. The controllers provide simple solutions to control more complex arrangement needs in stores, small shops, or residences. These include temperature differential controls to activate/deactivate the solar loop pump to transfer heat to the storage tank, an alternative heating energy source controls, which can be an energy source provider of electricity, gas or other fuel, to regulate a boiler or resistor functioning to heat water in the storage tank, if the solar system is unable; frost protection; storage tank level monitoring; and system fault localization.

The controller also support remote monitor.
