Schirmer Oz Color Tear Tests Strips

OZ Color Tear Tests are designed to measure whether the eye produces enough tears to keep it moist. The strips are preprinted on 5 X 35mm standardized filter paper strips with a blue-black color bar which travels with the tear front, a millimeter scale delineating the amount of tear flow, and have different shapes marked with letters R or L to indicate the right or left eye. Both eyes are tested at the same time.

INDICATIONS
OZ Color Tear Test may be used for
a c Evaluation of a dry eyea syndrome that includes, a wide variety of conditions (medications, autoimmune diseases, allergies, chronic blepharo-conjunctivitis, etc.).
a c Evaluation of the patient with suspected SjA grena s Syndrome in order to confirm decreased tear secretion objectively.
