This product is used for vitro quantitative detection of novel Coronavirus 2019 neutralizing antibodies in Human serum/plasma samples.
Novel Coronavirus 2019 belongs to the A A genus Novel Coronavirus. The particles are round or elliptic with envelope. They are often pleomorphic, ranging in diameter from 50 to 200nm. According to the epidemiological investigation of the patients, the population is generally susceptible, with fever as the main manifestation. It may cause mild dry cough, fatigue, shortness of breath, diarrhea and other rare symptoms such as runny nose and sputum. About 50% of patients have difficulty in breathing after a week. Severe cases quickly develop into acute respiratory distress syndrome, septic shock, difficult-to-correct metabolic acidosis and coagulation disorders. Some patients have mild symptoms or no clinical symptoms such as fever, and recovered after 1 week. Pneumonia caused by 2019 novel Coronavirus has an incubation period of 3-7 days, generally at most 14 days. Possible routes of virus transmission include droplet transmission, fecal-oral transmission, and contact transmission.
