Redispersible polymer powder is a free flowing, white powder obtained by spray drying of an aqueous vinyl acetate - ethylene copolymer dispersion.
It redisperses in water and reacts with hydrate product of cerement / gypsum and stuffing, from composite membrane with good mechanics intensity.
It has high flexibility and recommended for in the mortars when the flexible property are desired. It has good dispersion in water and high compression strength. R.D.Powder increases the adhesion between mortar and its substrate, and improves the mechanic property, flexibility, tensile strength and workability of the mortar.
Normal dosage is 1-6 % depending on the type of mortar.
