Punchy Long Throw Subwoofer Pro Subwoofer Bass System is a subwoofer offering low frequencies reinforcement for medium to high power systems. It uses two 18 inch speakers front-loaded in an optimally-sized and tuned vented enclosures.
Trans-Audio SW218 Power handling capacity shall be 1600 W RMS long term (3200 W peak) at a nominal impedance of 4 ohms. Usable frequency response shall be 35 to 280 Hz (A 3 dB) referenced to the average level of the usable response.
The two 18-inch transducers employed in the enclosure shall have a 4 inch (101.6 mm) diameter Polyamide-imide coated two-layer 27ga.copper voice coil for improved power handling and durability and Kapton coil former for increased rigidity and thermal protection.
Constructed from 18mm birch plywood fitted with flush metal handles on the left and right hand side performing rugged cabinet and very easy for carrying. The cabinet is finished in excellent black semi-matt textured paint with a internal socket to accept standard loudspeaker stand and the front of the enclosure shall be protected by 1.5 mm thick steel grille that is covered with newest unique acoustically-transparent braiding.
