Oil Penetration Tester

Oil Penetration Tester is the instrument chamber has an orifice for holding the liquid medium and a clamping device for holding the material.

The penetration timer stops automatically after releasing the sample holder.

Provision for water cooling to control the temperature of the oil container.

A mixture of 60% volume of Double processed castor oil having viscosity of 700 A 30 centipoises at 250A C or mineral oils of the same viscosity and comparable wetting characteristics and 40% of toluene are used.

Penetration timer : 999 second with 0.1 second
