These pumps are built as stage pumps with bronze opened typed impeller, cast iron casing & S.S. Shaft. The stuffing Box are fitted with a G.M. Packing-Nut and soft graphite packing.

The shaft runs in a ball bearing at the driving end, and the other end in a G.M. sleeve bearing lubricated by the liquid in the pump.

The shaft rotates clockwise seen from the driving end.

Operation:
Before starting both the pump and the suction pipe is to be full primed with liquid. Suction pipe line should be laid ascending from the foot valve to the pump, air pockets must be avoided. The discharge must be shut when the pump is started.
