Gateway e IFC a G.703 to V.35 interface convert ideally used when the synchronous device is situated with in a few hundred meters from the PCM equipment, typically within the telephone exchange premises. In other words, it replaces a pair of V.35 and G.703 modems and a Leased Line. It is connected to a sync device with a V.35 or similar interface on one side and the PCM network with the G.703 interface on the other side. It converts the 64 Kbps, nx64 Kbps or 2Mbps data received from the G.703 interface into data and clock and sends it to the V.35 interface. Similarly, it formats the data and clock from the sync device for transmission on to the G.703 network.
