Nomus Gateway E 64k/(g.703 & V.35)

Our provided Nomus Gateway e 64K/(G.703 & V.35) is a base-band data termination unit suitable for obtaining speeds of 64 kbps on ordinary 2/4-wire copper circuits. It provides synchronous communication on V.35 or RS-232 or RS-530 or X.21 interface. The Gateway e 64K/G703 is a similar base-band data termination unit, except that it implements G.703 interface as per itu-t on the digital interface The Gateway e 64K DTU can be used for LAN-LAN communication or for communication with dte devices such as routers or terminal multiplexers.

A pair of Gateway e 64K/V35 DTUs can be used for communication where there is physical copper pair between the two locations and the distance is within its performance limit. If the distance is longer than the performance limit, the circuit can be extended using a Gateway e 64K/G703 modem which allows the modems to be interfaced to the G.703 equipment in the exchange and data can be sent over the pcm network of the telephone company.

The Gateway e 64K modems implement the industry standard 2B1Q modulation to achieve connectivity to distances of upto 8.0 kms on 0.5 mm copper wires, irrespective of speed. These modems also provide comprehensive diagnostics through from panel keys, which help in diagnosing local or remote modems as well as the line itself. The tests include local, digital and remote loopback as well as a bit error rate test (bert).
