Moplen Ppcp Ep546u Polypropylene Copolymer

Moplen EP546U is a nucleated heterophasic polypropylene (PP) impact copolymer developed by LyondellBasell. It is specifically engineered for injection molding applications that require outstanding flowability and a balanced combination of impact strength and stiffness. With a very high Melt Flow Rate (MFR) of 70 g/10 min (230C/2.16 kg), EP546U is ideal for thin-walled, complex, and high-speed molding operations.

This grade includes an antistatic additive and nucleating agent, delivering enhanced moldability, excellent surface aesthetics, and improved mechanical properties such as a tensile modulus of 1550 MPa and tensile yield strength of 28 MPa. It maintains good impact performance even at low temperatures and offers a Vicat Softening Point of 151C, supporting applications exposed to moderate heat.

Moplen EP546U is widely used in housewares, opaque containers, food packaging (e.g., margarine tubs, yogurt pots), and toys, where high flow, dimensional stability, and mechanical robustness are required.
