We are exporting and supplying of Lug Type Butterfly Valve to our consumers. It has construction the same as wafer types but one major and important difference results different in application of valves area. Lug type butterfly valves are to be connected to the pipeline from the tapped / without tapped holes surrounding the body. So, users are required Instead of studs, bolts must be used in order to install this type of valves to the pipeline.The bolts holds the valve from both directions in lug design , if the flange on one side of the valve is detached the valve will still hold. This is important feature ,so this valve used as end-valve on an end of a pipeline. This type can be installed between PN 16 flanges. You have some advantages of Wafer/Lug Type Butterfly Valves . Lug type butterfly valves has distance between the flanges is shorter than other types of valves , so makes valve lighter in weight and more economic in cost than others valves . Lug type v has Seat of the valve that covers not only the valve port but also the connection area between body and pipe flange. This is because of its construction there's no need for additional gasket for installation. Lug Butterfly valve seat perfectly covers the iron valve port.
