In general, these drugs are well tolerated. G.I toxicity: Anorexia, nausea, vomiting, abdominal discomfort and diarrhoea are the commonest side effects. CNS toxicity: cause CNS toxicity such as confusion, nervousness, agitation, hallucination and rarely convulsions.
