Invokana is indicated as an adjunct therapy to diet and exercise to improve gycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus as monotherapy and combination therapy.
Dosage : Adults 18 years and above
The recommended starting dose is 100mg or 300mg once daily. The 300 mg dose may be considered for patients with an EGfr >_ 60ml/min/1.73m2, who need tighter glycemic control and who have low risk of adverse reactions associated with reduced intravascular volume with INVOKANA
